A couple of disclaimers about what to expect when you submit your book to TWPT. Not everything we receive will be reviewed. We receive numerous titles each and every year and we do make calls as to which titles will be reviewed after looking over the book and then evaluating it in light of what would be beneficial for our readers to hear about. Not everything will be reviewed a week after we receive it so please be patient. Just because a book is not reviewed immediately does not mean that it won't ever be reviewed. Sometimes as we work down through the books we receive we find a title that turns out to be something other than what our initial impression was and at that point it gets pushed to the top of the review pile. Seeing as how we actually have to read the books to be able to offer our views on a title it can take awhile for this to happen.
For the most part we don't do a lot of Wiccan/Pagan fiction. It's not that we don't like fiction because we do. It is just that we don't have the time or the staff (Imajicka and Boudica represents the staff) to take on another genre of Wiccan/Pagan writings and still be able to do it justice. If you are a reviewer and write reviews of this type of material on a regular basis please contact me about perhaps getting your reviews reprinted here on TWPT.
If you are a publisher of non fiction Wiccan/Pagan material please feel free to contact us or to send a sample copy of your latest releases for consideration. There are always new publishers popping up and even though we try I'm sure that there are some that we miss. Don't be shy about letting us know you are there.
